Our fantastic studio holds a prime location in SW12, running directly parrallel with Platorm One of Wandsworth Common train station. We occupy one of the old station house buildings, no 4 Jaggard Way.  Our crisp white walls, large windows, high ceilings, original wooden floors and exposed brick wall create a bright open, New York Loft style studio space that you’ll love to spend time in and be proud to call your training space.

Our studio specialises in private equipment pilates. We're experienced in working with antenatal and post natal clients, injury rehabilitation, sports professionals and anyone looking to improve their bodies overall health including posture, flexibility or core strength. Our founder, Sarah Jacobs brings a wealth of knowledge from her work in International rugby, which has led The Loft to develop a method with a strong focus on body biomechanics.  By correcting existing movement patterns, we address and adjust imbalances in the body.

You are unique and so too is your pilates session.  Your instructor will ask you questions each time you visit and the session is led by what you communicate, both verbally and through your physicality.  A programme is then tailor made to ensure your goals are met.  Our Instructors are trained to a very high standard and continually complete in house training and courses to further update their knowledge base.

Our aim is to provide world class pilates instruction and education to our clients, in an exclusive private environment whereby each individual gets hands on attention to create a balanced functional body.  As Joseph Pilates stated “Controlology (Pilates) develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit.” The Loft Pilates Studio encompasses this statement, aiming to balance the mind and body to enable the client to complete whatever their passion is, be it work, sports, Pilates, or everyday life, with optimal physical and mental conditioning.

Our fantastic studio space is immaculate and we would like to keep it that way, therefore we ask that you take your shoes off before entering the studio room please.  There is a shoe rack outside to take care of your shoes.

New clients often ask what should I wear and the answer is simple, anything you are comfortable in.  It is easier for the instructor to see your body move in tighter fitting clothes, however we want you to feel at ease so any fitness clothes that you are happy in will be great.  One thing we do ask is that you wear a pair of clean socks or anti slip pilates socks.  This is for hygiene reasons.  Non slip socks are available to purchase from us at the studio.

Upon entering the studio please place your drink and any personal belongings in one of the cubby holes provided. A changing room is available should you wish to use it.
